FMS' new 1/12 Type 82 Kubelwagon. Granted, its an in-between scale but I'll take it. Will look nice beside my 1/10 Hetzer & a 222 I'm starting on.
HEC posted a a detailed review with many photos. Its in Chinese but you can translate easily by opening in Chrome. https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/T-5NsSddAO9uFeJHJqocxQ
Hopefully someone will offer proper figures, as in something I can afford. for it soon. If Torro's pending upscaled Schwimmwagon is indeed, 1/12, then am sure they'll follow with a set.

Re: FMS 1/12 Type 82 Kubelwagon
Thanks for the news, Sailor. Since I have 1/48 trains, 1/16 farm models, and 1/16 AFVs, and a few 1/48 static models, I have to draw the limit. ( ) But I looked through the review, and I sure will be watching if you get one (I hope). Kaczor, I agree that the Phillips head screws are unfortunate. On farm models, they are mostly hidden or other fasteners are used, including semi-tubular rivets, lots of CA glue (with surprisingly infrequent messiness), and some metal-on-metal press fit. For RC, having some way to disassemble for repairs is an advantage, so the Phillips head screws are both a drawback and a help. I wonder if there would be a better way to make RC models readily repairable but keep a clean, authentic look.

Re: FMS 1/12 Type 82 Kubelwagon
The answer is simple. All body work, invisible fixings. All internals / out of sight, quality fixings incl cross head screws. Tamiya 1/14 trucks are just as bad with cross heads holding bodies on chassis (plus yet another scale!!)

Nice model, but the scale only good to match those HG trucks which also don't match the same era.
I will just stick with my own 1/16 version, going to spend some time over the Winter improving some of the models now aswell with resin printed parts to up the detail levels
