You can buy a brand new Heng Long Version 6.0 for less than £130.
Got a couple more pics and it does look like a Taigen 2.4ghz Tiger.
I would rather spend 130 on a new HL

looks like old Taigen version 1 tiger tank no brace bar across front of lower hull. Has taigen version 1 electronics the tracks look metal. The gearboxes are probably pot metal hard to see with the crap pictures. Could possible be a full metal lower hull but you won't know till you get your hands on it. I would say be cheeky offer £50

I may as well just spend £130 and get a fully working HL Tiger and upgrade as I want

Looking on marketplace and eBay it's interesting to see how many people over price their old tanks.
There are Heng long 27mhz tanks for £200+!

Yes and there will always be someone who knows no better and buys them. You, as always, need to keep your wits about you. That said, there are bargains too. They appear every now and then so you need to be patient. Otherwise use one of our friendly known retailers who will charge RRP or less and provide a quality purchasing experience. (I should be a salesman! ;) )

I've got the chance to get the Tiger pictured.
The seller says they've never got it working.
All they've said is that it's heavy!
Don't know if a controller is even included.
Can anyone tell what this is by the internals?
They've said to make them a offer..... Worth it?

ThanksImage

They want 170 but I would probably only want to offer 50 max. I will avoid it and keep looking

Well I bid on a Tiger on eBay not expecting to win but I did.
It's the specs in the picture and I won it for £144. I think that's pretty good considering the price for that version everywhere I've seen is £250+
Is barrel recoil standard on the Heng long tiger?

Also the tank hasnt even had the accessories fitted so will be like a new tankImage

Pretty much every tank I've bought used has become a project. Even those tanks I've bought from forum members. But to qualify that every new tank is also a project...I just can't leave well enough alone. :)
