Hi all,
No doubt it will be a nice kit(BUT) I bet the price will be well over a £1000. Tamiya have slowly but surely out priced so many model builders out of the market IMO.I’m surprised they are even considering bringing another kit out. We’ll see and I’ll wait with bated breath.Brian…

I hope Tamiya is not simply releasing their old Sherman M4a3 HVSS with a Firefly turret... Some of these are known to have been converted for the Americans in 1945 but too late to see service. I remember Tamiya was selling an optional metal 17pd gun for their Sherman many years ago.

There's nothing like an unsubstantiated rumor about Tamiya to get the forums rumbling. Six months ago the word was they were getting out of RC tanks alltogether and now there's a vague promise of a new British tank on the horizon. I hope it is true and I hope it's something unique and interesting but I won't be getting too excited until I see some photos or an announcement on their website.
