Digging up History- LVT-4 Excavation

Post by silversurfer1947 »

 Announced yesterday from an excavation in the fens. A shame they didn't get someone who knew something about them to write the article, but then, it is the Sun. There is a better report in The Times, but access to it is restricted without a subscription.

Hello Silversurfer1947,

An amazing state of preservation. I've always fantasized about living on the Continent and bumbling across some forgotten piece of one of the World Wars. I guess I'll have to content myself with finding Native American arrowheads. 8)

Cheers,
Eric.

They have been talking about digging them up for years now, glad they finally got around to doing it.
