Was the Tank Santa good to you?

Post by BarryC »

Hi folks,

I thought it would be interesting to share what in the way of tank goodies Santa may have left under your tree, I think (I know) I did very well. 8)

I received a Tamiya F/O Tiger I a HL Pz III Taunch and a Taigen Pz III kit with GBs no electronics.

I scored for myself the Tamiya Jagdpanther (built and painted) and a Tamiya Jagdpanther static kit. I also scored reference books in multiples for all of the above tanks and the M4A2 Sherman.
We refinanced the house and I splurged a little. :D

I now have enough tanks to keep me busy for the next 10 years or so. ;)

:| Nah, The Tank Santa was confined to quarters in the North Pole, thanks to Covid regulations, apparently :D However, A secret elf (or was it delirium Tremens  :lolno: ) managed to airdrop a WPL 4WD truck. :)

Did you score anything worth smokin', before the mega-splurge, I wonder? :shh: :problem:
Could easily explain the breakdown in splurge control  Or was it Bourbon bravery, Barry? :haha:

Ha!,

As much as I would have liked it to have it been something I "smoked" I can only blame it on Bourbon. I can't even claim bravery as Mrs C was in on it. I did have to "all most" promise not to buy any more until I had finished several of what I've on hand! ;) I do think however that it is likely the last tank purchase unless something comes out that I really want!! :D

I got jack for Christmas. :'( I thought we were talking about fine cigars for a second and that maybe I had met another aficionado, but now I get it! :eh: Sometimes I'm just slow. :/ Did I mention that I got jack for Christmas?!

Cheers,
Eric.
