1:1 Scale Tiger Ammunition

Post by B_Man »

I saw these 1:1 scale Tiger ammunition kits on YouTube a while back and it seems they will soon be available locally in Australia: https://www.bnamodelworld.com/scenics-d ... -pig-1-001
Has anyone on here built one yet?

It looks looks like some 1:1track link kits are on the way too: https://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op ... ad&order=0

Don't be too surprised if in a few years time when you are dribbling soup through your long grey beard your great grandson asks you "Whats That Granpa"? and you gurgle through your toothless lips "That my boy is Tank ammunition".
Shortly afterwards a couple of squaddies arrive and manhandle your "Tank Ammunition" into the garden and blow it up.
Inert and practice rounds account for 90% of call outs to "Unexploded Ordnance" by the Army. :lolno:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I am considering the M1 Abrams Track they have planned as a display base for my Abrams.
If they do a 120mm APFSDS Round I will diffidently be getting it! 8)

Why not buy the real thing?

I have a real Panther link, Sherman T80/T84 and T54 with duck bill link and a Panzer IV link :)

Not to mention a 251 half track wheel with original camo.

Having a real item from history is a story to tell the kids...

Think it’s an E1. I’ll check tomorrow and post a photo :)

Hoping to buy a 17pdr shell from my friend who used to own an M10 Achilles. He has about 20 empty shells left and no M10 anymore lol

I bet those shells won't be cheap. But I would be interested in one at the right price ;)
