For those of us in the states, Imex has just listed a bunch of different camo nets for tanks, as well as bedrolls and other stuff. It all says "restocking soon" right now, but if that boat ever docks they'll have all of it.

Nice to know they’re expanding. I don’t really mind ordering from our “across the pond” vendors but it’s nice to have a more local (cheaper, faster shipping) option. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the link, Gary, and restoring a little sanity to the thread I often look at the Imex website, but seem to have missed this impressive camo page.
As a final footnote on the tank with the unusual 'armament', for some reason it reminds me of Peter Griffin's chin, in the 'Family Guy' series...a sort of suggestive facial camo:

I guess, as Forgebear is an official Taigen outlet in the UK, these camo options should be obtainable through him? I looked under diorama and didn't find those specific items:

I think the camo nets and bedrolls are an imex exclusive, Roy, and not really associated with Taigen Tanks. Erik keeps talking about backpacks, too, but I'm still waiting for those. Imex does a bunch of stuff besides tanks, too, like puzzles and lego blocks and quads and stuff. They also have pretty good model display cases. They've been around for close to 50 years.

My first love was aircraft modelling, and I always loved the tiger Meet schemes but I never did much with jets, sticking mainly to WWII. But one cool jet from that time period still hangs in my living room.




As the first operational jet i think of the 262 as the Grand Daddyof them all, and i think it will always be my favorite aircraft. Some guy (I think in Pennsylvania) is reproducing 262s with modern engines. Last I heard they start at 1 million USD.

Looks as if Mr Magoo had been given a yellow road line painting machine. What setting would that camo be useful in?
Also, I didn't know the Canadians had the 'Widow-Maker' as well as the unfortunate Germans. How many Canadian pilots did this jinxed jet claim, I wonder?

It's still a very shapely plane, Gary, and it only pipped the British Gloster Meteor into service by three months, back in 1944. So, it's more like the cousin, rather than Grandaddy
As for the camo extras, it's a pity if Imex is the only source of these tasty goodies- as shipping costs are prohibitive from the US to Europe.

Whether it was by three days, three months, or three years, the 262 was the first operational jet fighter. Whatever plane came in second place is just the first loser.
