Noticed what? We've got the time and the channel but what's going to be on?
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

In theory, it is the first of 2 programmes about 6 men from 5th RTR from Dunkirk to North Africa and on to D-day. It is a fill in instead of the scheduled Dan Snow Dig WW2. I can not find when the 2nd programme might be shown. Channels 2 and 102(HD) on Freeview 7 pm tonight, probably UK only.

The episode tonight confirmed everything l've learnt about WW2 British tanks. That's why my WW2 fleet is all Axis and Russian. :|

Thats a little harsh,
The Comet was the prototype that laid down the correct balance of Power, Armour and Main Gun for every post war British MBT even though it was a Cruiser tank,
Combined with the Centurion these two late WW2 British Tanks finally gave the Royal Armoured Corps hope for the future.
Apart from the Chieftain Multi-Fuel (Forced on the MOD by NATO) the record has been one success after another.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

The Centurion missed the war and was probably the first decent tank we had My dad did a lot of the drawings for it but that wasn't why it was good ;)

Right now the Chally 2 is winning NATO exercises so we have improved but, no, l don't think l was being harsh at all! The UK just didn't want to spend the money
