Thats the F2 plastic hull not the G full metal

From a purely historical point of view the designation "F2"is confusing,
With the upgunning of the Ausf "F" to the Kwk 75 the PZ 4 was initially named the F2 but after just a few months and 250 F2s the balance of production (1927 Tanks) were redesignated Ausf G, There were no external signs of any difference between the Ausf F2 and the Ausf G.
One of the problems with the designation F2 was that forward workshops would apply for spares for the F2,
The difference between the F2 and the F1 would be lost on the non Armoured regiment office clerks who would simply apply for an Ausf F spare to be sent forward,
A lot of wrong spares clogged an already overloaded logistic system,
Once the title was changed to Ausf G such errors disappeared.
