Poll: Sd. Kfz. 9 FAMO with towed trailer, FLAK or field gun
Howdy gents. Hope y'all are making good use of this mandated stay-at-home holiday to catch up on your hobbies like I did over the past 2 months here in my neck of the woods.
I have been talking with a known quality manufacturer who is interested in developing a Sd. Kfz. 9 FAMO with towed trailer or field gun or FLAK 88 in 1/16 scale. The Sd. Ah.116 18 ton trailer would be ideal to haul around a Pz III or Stug. Would be RTR with metal lower chassis, road wheels & track, ABS shell & priced under Asiatam's all metal version. The FAMO would stand alone with trailer, gun & crew figures sold separately.
Also considering in 1/10 if they find the market is there.
Looking for a show of hands for those who may be interested.

A 1/16 famo would be a very welcomed addition to my fleet

I guess it depends on who this 'known quality' manufacturer' was? I mean I 'know' the quality of Hooben for example, in as much as I personally think it ain't all that great...

Can't divulge parties but I can say neither Hooben nor even HL will be involved.

1/16 Tamiya quality Torro Prices would get my vote,
I really like German half tracks of WW2 the 1/16 SD kfz 222 would also be on my wish list

Sounds good!
Depends on on the manufacturer.
It won’t be cheap, a Famo would have to be around £400/£500 to be considered decent enough and not made from pot metal
My Dragon Wagon and trailer build would make most wince at the cost.

If it’s Clark, they won’t bring anything out, just 3D images.
And let’s face it, we all need to buy more locally after this sh1t storm is over.
