The link worked fine, Barry. :thumbup: That piece of footage is quite familiar: first we see the terrible injuries suffered by the Sherman commander as he pulls himself out of the destroyed tank, and then minutes later, The Pershing tank, with our venerable veteran, when it caught up with the Panther, a couple of blocks away, and dealt it a fatal blow. Filmwise, it's a rare, but celebrated encounter.

Read the book Spearhead and watched the complete video of the tank battle, truly chilling footage.
Not mentioned and probably rightfully so in this ceremony was the civilian tragedy that took place during the battle.
War is Hell...for all involved. RIP Kathy Esser..
But it’s a dry heat!
