One of my local model shops supplies these takom 1/16 kits. They also have a Renault and some Japanese available. Some are that small it may require 1/35 electrics but the kits are 1/16
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

The Asiatam tracks mesh just fine, but I think I'd prefer a slightly fatter and taller tooth on the sprocket. The road wheels fit fine between the guide teeth as well.
I think I will likely come up with a new printed sprocket when I find a suitable gearbox, because the shaft on the kit sprocket is rather slender and going to be difficult to attach to any thing.

Hi Martin, I’m hoping I can get one of these to fit, or I’m back to the drawing board Image

Won't work - the lower glacis is going to foul the gearbox.

I'm looking at the gearboxes from the RSO project - going to be a bit of a squeeze, but best I can suggest right now.

Yea, I was hoping to use the guts from a donor small tracked digger or dozer myself but can't find anything yet that fits the space.

Ludwig's set up offers the perfect solution but the housing alone cost more than what I paid for Takom's kit plus I need to pay for postage to China. I'm ready to pull the trigger if I don't find an alternate solution.

Look at the RSO thread in the 3D printing area, the link to the donor toy tank is in there.
