Look what I found in Argos going cheap.
Re: Look what I found in Argos going cheap.
I think for that price it could be worth a go to mount on the Enfield, or maybe use it to tape on top the tank (when it's fixed) and use it to see where I'm driving. Thanks.

I've just picked two up to use as wireless cams for my 3D printers.
Printing out parts for my new printer then I'm going to make some camera brackets.
The pic quality isn't to good as the camera is just sat on top of the printer looking through a clear plastic box.
Surprised at the range of the cameras Wi Fi.. The printer is in the basement and I'm two floors above and can watch the printer with no problems.

Oh wow. That's brilliant. I'm guessing you are pleased with the cameras Mr Woz?

Yes I've been looking at webcams for my printers for a while. Each camera has it's own Wifi address so I can just log in to a camera and watch it print from my phone. I can also film it or take stills with my phone so I don't need a large memory card in it.Son of a gun-ner wrote:Oh wow. That's brilliant. I'm guessing you are pleased with the cameras Mr Woz?
Not sure about the battery life but I've read it can be powered by a phone charger or I can use a mobile power bank.

Yeah, I charged mine using a kindle charger.
But I didn't realise I didn't need a memory card to use it with a phone.
So, for the money, it is quite a useful tool. That's awesome.
My neighbour sent me a UK hot deal. Thinking I might like to get one to put on a tank. That's how I found out about them.

You download an app and that does the recording.
I ordered one for my tank but as I looked into them I found they could be used as Wifi webcams so I ordered another. When I'm out playing with my tanks I won't be printing so they'll have two uses.
Anyway nice find.
