HL Tiger 1...the allure of the German armour was too much!!
Mind you, it has upgraded motors, metal tracks, upgraded sprockets, all for the princely sun of £62.
We’ll see exactly what I got when it arrives. The previous owner also fitted magnets to connect the lower and upper hull AND it has the etched grills and additional storage bags kit.
Got a good feeling about this tank!!

For the parts alone it’s worth it. All reported to be in working order.
I forgot to say that a new turret ring was fitted giving 360 transition.

Ahhhhhhh the now quite typical “ second tank” symptom of the addiction has manifested itself.
Soon the descent into uncontrollable madness and fiscal prolapse shall follow.
Have s lie down on our virtual couch and we shall see what can be done about this abstract thought process,
Doctors? How should we proceed now the diagnosis has been so profoundly displayed?
I propose medication of thinners and acrylic paint for now, a stronger prescription may be required !

Oh no, don't tell the bank manager anything, especially if the wife can find out. . . .jarndice wrote:All of the above Dr Bix with perhaps the now almost obligatory conversation with their bank manager
My eldest brother had at least two bank accounts, one his wife knew about, and one she definitely didn't I don't know how he swung it, but he had his wages split into those two accounts.

Addicts don't have to worry about them anymore, Shaun real (- as opposed to virtual) Bank Managers are now on the 'endangered species' list, and are all but extinct.jarndice wrote:All of the above Dr Bix with perhaps the now almost obligatory conversation with their bank manager
Nah...addicts can keep the 'maybe just one more! 'mantra going until the credit card oasis dries up.
Mmm...and then, what an image it would present, to see world-weary (but bemused ) bailiffs dragging a fleet of 1/16 RC tanks out of some hapless addict's rundown pad...with the heartbroken collector in pursuit, pleading: "..Can't you Just leave the Tamiya Pz IV...please .??: " 'Have a heart, guv!!"
"Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please"- Mark Twain.
