Panther-F cupola hatch

Post by Rob59 »

Well, I must admit, I do like my Taigen Panther-F more and more.
Maybe it is even my most favourite tank at the moment.
Still waiting for the decals for my Panther-G, 2 Fug antennas, two 2m antennas and 4 motorcycle goggles to come in.
When that happens, I can finish my Stabtiger 1 from the Eastern front, and the G which is still without any tactical numbers and so

Had to make another post because on my phone the words to type are limited in a way.
The hatch from the F now.
The tank is nicely detailed, all the welds are there and it is an overall good looking tank.
Except for the commanders hatch which has no detail at all.
Checked some sites but5 only a complete metal cupola with hatch and details available.
Aren't there just detailed hatches for sale out there?

Besides that, the entire set is quite pricey, and I already have a nice cupola.....just would like a detailed hatch (underneath view when it is opened)

I was talking to ROB59 the other week about detailing Panther and Panzer 111 and 4 Cupola Hatches, I was unable to offer much help but since then I found a set of Cupola Hatch Bars from --
http://www.hagen-miniatures.de
1.20 Euros a pair + Postage,
I ordered 6 pairs and they came today, really nice metal casting and worth the money if you are into detailing.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Shaun, good afternoon.
Wondering how you guys always find things like that 8) .
Went through some 1:16 stuff on that site but could not locate the hatch stuff you mentioned.
Will look later on my pc.
Too late for that stuff anyway now because I made some crappy things myself on the hatch :P
