New Tank museum in the US in construction

Post by lmcq11 »

Excellent news,

Construction of the Collings foundation museum to display the best of the late Jacques M. Littlefield Collection in under construction in Massachusetts. Building is planning to hold 85 tanks and other equipment. Will definitely have to plan a short trip in 2019. Hope that the Panther is still functional. Wife always wanted to go check the mansions and gardens in the Boston area. For those who like warplanes as well, this will be an extensive stop on the way.

When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

I was fortunate to visit the full Littlefield collection in Portola back in 2013.
A lot of the intrigue was how he actually made purchases !
For sure we can crash on Mr Rainfords floor to keep costs of the visit down !!
I’m great with little kids mate, especially if I can give them back !
Best you advise Mrs R that you may at some stage be hosting a boozing yobbos convention all in the name of historical interest :haha:

Really!?

This news is definitely An early Christmas present!

I can guarantee that a New England road trip from Pennsylvania with my better half will be planned.

Wasn't that just a load of rare tanks rusting away outside? This seems much better
