I was in Asda a couple of days ago, they had rolls of artificial grass, sold as doormats, for £7. It looked pretty tough, and would be ideal for scenics.

Mind you, Asda sometimes have stuff they sell off cheap, I bought a Duracell battery charger for £5 takes 8 AA batteries, guess what I use in my remotes, 3500 mAh AA batteries, 4 for £3 in Lidl.
