I can vouch for the Darkith system. I bought the kit with trepidation as I had never built a pcb before in my life. It was however, a piece of cake. David is also incredibly helpful, which is a huge bonus.

I bought the HL kit, and am seriously considering the DBCR2 kit for another tank.

The mass inertia works very well, and you have a selection of loading speeds/hits depending on the light/medium/heavy jumper settings. Enabling and disabling the recoil/inertia via the left joystick prior to ignition is a useful feature too.

For the money it is probably the best value out there right now. Mine has been faultless.
