Tank Museum virtual model season

Post by TankMuseum1944 »

In February, The Tank Museum would normally be holding our annual South West Model Show. Because of the pandemic, we've had to shelve the event until September. Instead we're releasing a series of videos relating to modelling - starting with "A Salute to Model Making", hosted by curator David Willey and actor Chris Barrie. Fake Tanks – exploring The Tank Museum’s model collection – will be released on YouTube on 5th March. The Beginners Guide, will be released on YouTube on 12th March. Find out more and watch our first video here: https://tankmuseum.org/tank-nuts/news-a ... el-making/

Yes, thank you for letting us know about these videos, it's a great way to keep people interested and also hopefully attract new modellers. With a bit of luck things will get back to normality pretty soon and those who watch the videos may then be tempted to visit the tank museum and see the full size vehicles ( it's a great place :D )

Cheers,Lee.

Yes, thank you very much.

I'm still trying to figure out a way to see the museum. Couldn't get to it when I was over there two years ago.
