Ive seen them in pound shops B and M too
But did not have my head in gear

The siphon bellows are totally flexable ..so a recoil would work suoeefine and there's easly paintable with enamal and water based paints

LOL, I had one of those siphons for my old fish tank, and threw it away last year :{

I think they would be a little stiffer than the rubber ones Mr Docomar750 has.

I agree but the "rib" count looks better IMO. :think:

I've had no,problem with the recoil at all .. And the rid count and scale is much better and a 10% the cost

If you use a polyxxxx plastic as used on the symphon then paint MAY crack off but you should be able to dye that material. Don't think rubber would take paint or dye. Its great finding 'bits' made to do one job that sort out a problem elsewhere!

Excellent, the scale appearance is very important to me but it has to function without putting excess stress on the recoil mechanism, good to hear! :thumbup:

Mr mcevoyi, would you be so kind as to be able to tell me the outside diameter of that tube please, I've found some tube suppliers, but they do multiple sizes, from memory, I'm thinking around 20mm.
