Tiger 1s Idlers come in different ways of fixing to the Tank depending on whether it is Heng Long or Taigen,
Does your Idler have a couple of crosshead screws in the spokes?
If so unscrew them,
BE CAREFUL the metal is soft,
Separate the two halves of the idler and you will find a Hex Headed Screw,
Tighten and then reassemble the idler,
Job done.
If your Idler has a hole in the centre then put a Hex Spanner into the hole and tighten the Hex Head screw.
Again Job Done.
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Thanks, it's a Heng Long, and I think it's got a little hole in the middle, but will try and have a look tomorrow.

I left them all drying on the draining board after their snow trip, but just got home to find my wife has tidied them away somewhere...

Wouldn't put it passed her, she did once put a 'soiled' nappy in with a load of washing, that was, err, 'interesting' sorting that out!

But no, they were under the christmas tree, looked quite good under there tbh

I told you guys what to use so snow can't stick in anything. I've run every tank I own in snow sometimes over a foot deep and have never had 1 issue or failure due to the snow or ice.

I use Tamiya paints and have never had the paint ever get messed up. Its also biodegradable so you won't hurt the snow/water cause I know some people stay up all night worrying about such things.

It SHOULD be available in the UK as it was invented in Germany back in the late 1800's for gun care.

Cool. Thanks!

Btw. Since its for gun cleaning and maintenance... Would you have any idea if Breakfree would do the same? I can "borrow" plenty of that from work ;)

I've never heard of it and have no idea. If you decide you want to try it I'd first compare it's formula to Ballistol or try it on something other then your prize tank.
