Crusader MK II, 7th Armoured Brigade, 7th Armoured Division

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Really nice work as usual! I wish I had the skill and patience you do, or at least enough money to buy your models off you :haha:
It would be really cool if that front mg turret moved too!!
Cheers,
Dave

The turret moves too. When i have done the complete electrical stuff, i will make an video, there you will see it ;)

Thanks to all, i´m happy that you like my modells. I really like this old british tanks and i´m sure i will buildt another one next time. The Tanks are much different to the german ones, it´s very sad, that now factory like Tamiya or HL build some.

The 2mm polystyrol seems very strong. How are you cutting out the parts? I have a cutting board for Plasticard but 2mm is very thick for my board. Are you using a router?
Thanks Manual, Christian(chris3) has a CNC Router and post here also,his parts are always cut perfect and your are perfect as well, really fine work. I have been saving for the CNC and Tooling but am interested in other methods as well so please share you cutting method if you will?

cheers Sax

@Saxondog

Well, i cut all plates up to 3mm with an regulary Cutter and Steel, or Aluminium Ruler. I don´t have an CNC Plotter.
I slit this slightly 4-5 times, than i crack it.
