It's more action movie (because of director) but battle scenes have some scope, some nice kit used, Stuarts, Shermans:

My Dad's uncle, long passed, was in the 2nd Marine division. He fought on Tarawa, Guadalcanal, and Saipan. He took his wound
on Saipan. People including me would often ask him what it was like. He never said a word.
