Just sharing that cheesecloth works rather well.

Cheesecloth is the ticket.

Tried to use medical gauze since I had some in the house
and I'm cheap. No good.

The difficult part is using 0 adhesives; and getting it to stay put.

I make a slurry of Elmer's glue 'PVA glue' diluted with tap water with whatever colors I choose from Tamiya XF paints I have. Paint it on the cloth, stretch it out on a flat surface and allow it to dry. Then I take it and wrap it how I like it on what I want then use a mister bottle of 70% rubbing alcohol and lightly hydrate only the cloth and mold it how I want it to fit. It dries rather quickly and is easy to form and mold or even remove if I want.

I do the same thing for tarps I just substitute those nice heavy cloth club bathroom towels for the cheesecloth.

I try to look back at what was actually/really on a tank I want to model.
Then think how to make it look like that and out of what.
First thing is plausibility for me. Then from there its methodology.
I have made errors along the way and I try to go back & fix them when I can based on the above revelations !

So far no glue or adhesive. I been able to take advantage of hand holds and accessory mounts.
No sure I'm going stick with it. It looks "too much".

Mr. Chef, where did you get the 2 circular, and 2 rectangular grill covers? My HL panther G
has them. Did your spg come with them? If someone makes it for the Panther G, I want em.

I got them from Taigen tanks-

Looks like the price has gone up since I got them though.

They are available from several companies and several dealers. I know Dave at Forgebear also has them in the UK and I also know that Toucan RC carries them.
