New acquisition

Post by Meter rat »

Hopefully, a new acquisition will arrive tomorrow. Was supposed to be the sixth. This will be the last, I promise.

It's just not good enough, I came here expecting to see an un-boxing, instead we get an easily broken promise :P

I had to tell the mussis something. It will be the last of one of the models I have. Not the last, last. 😇 So no un-broken promises.

That has to be the bravest/stupidist comment I have read on this Forum and I disassociate myself from it completely

I've given up B.S.'n my Mrs............she's too wise and is the only human that even knows a quarter of how to read me, and she knows full well that Im into this until they are all packed away & nothing I say is remotely connected to AFV's of any description.
She can tell I want something by the breath I draw when I see it.....like the other night when AHHQ released a preview of the Das Werk 251/22 and Puma ;)

Until then, I just try to balance the priorities and not push my luck, but deception is long gone as an option .

I try and hide them from my wife... but she has a full proof method... she looks at the credit card statement she has normally clocked what I am up to before its even been delivered!

A bit disappointed. Deck does not fit well and the cover over the charging point has broken off. Zimmerit is damaged at the front, turret feels wobbly. Tools are poorly represented, but some details are nice.
I never wanted another Tiger, but after reading some history (Part of the reason why I kept it quiet, as I needed to confirm some information). I decided that this would be a a personal tribute for D-Day build. I will explain all later when I am ready to start. I am going to feel shit about cutting it up though.

Yay, it turned up.

Sorry to hear about the damage, such a pain.
I've got to ask, is that barrel ok? Am I right in thinking it looks like it's stuck in the recoiled position, just like the early Heng Long Tiger 1's
