Zimmerit on the back wall and modified the exhaust. I'm not a smoker fan, but I did modify the mufflers to be functional, if ever needed or desired.

The sides are on but not embossed yet, the exhaust work took longer than expected.

Man youve done a great job on this.
I might try that technique on my next Zimmerit Tank, it seems to work for you.
The mantlet is by far the hardest to knock off right.

Well it was cheap and fast too. If I had ordered a kit, it wouldn't be here for days. Kind of fun to do, but it would get old quick if I were to do several tanks. Pretty easy to fix, change or patch. I originally did not zim under the jack but then went back and added a patch.

The mantlet is mostly miliput with a touch up with the iron.

It would be prudent to remove the extra convoy light under the jack in the mud flap frame/bracket.

Mine is not a perfect example, but an example nonetheless.

I suggest Not removing it with a rotary tool the way I did but using a Chisel razor craft blade for the major removal and possibly cleaning it up with the rotary tool.

My experience with the rotary tool was my inexperience. I had more cleaning up and fixing with putty to do. Had I had more experience and wasn't so motivated to use the brand new rotary tool I wouldn't have made such a mess.

When I subsequently removed other items on the tank like the turret bin brackets I found using the chisel blade much more precise and controllable with less mess to clean and rebuild after. But again I chalk my experience up to inexperience. I'm sure you'll do alot better work.
