New Site Manager position explained.
Hello forum members.
I thought it would be polite to keep you up to date with the new position (especially as no-one else has bothered ) that I now appear to have.
I'm not really a site manager as such, I'm still a moderator like every other moderator in green, I just have a few upgrades.
Therefore I'm not the boss of them.
What is different, I have been given extra abilities/tasks in the everyday running of the forum, I don't have the full admin tool kit, just enough to get by.
What that means is, that we moderators have an extra option in a third person for simple forum changes. Or members needing help with account problems etc.
Now you know

Oh, my heartfelt condolences, Mick. Without the electronics, but in person or via memos, emails, etc., such was the nature of part of my job at the university. to you and all the moderators.

Well there you have it. I just noticed the position title change before reading this here post. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work.
People come in my kitchen looking for the "Chef", I reply that's a nice title. But a more fitting title would be, "Executive Senior Sanitation Engineer"... I shovel lots of shit.
