Autonomous IR battle Tank opponent @ RCTANKWARFARE?

I know I post a lot of info here lately as I have been away from my models for a while and NOW I have a new Hobby room at my home so I am ready to make up for lost time so please excuse my excessive posting
After making a few short IR battle videos, I realised that commanding both Tanks in a battle is non productive as far as the outcome is concerned

I have had an idea for some time to come up with a "autonomous IR opponent "
I am surprised there is nothing like that available but I am sure there will be in the future. I will lead the way by developing one myself using off the shelf components.
1. Battle must be 2 way. You as a Tank commander, if skilled enough, can take out the opposing Tank with four hits BEFORE the opposing Tank can score 4 hits on your Tank, each hit will be registered on a 4 LED scoring display readily visible at all times.
2. The autonomous Tank maneuvers and fires its main gun in an attempt to take out any and all opponents in its range of operation territory. The opposing Tank will try to defeat you with 4 hits in either direction to signal the end of the battle.
This is a simple as I can imagine the simulation idea but it could be expanded of course.
I have a set of Tanks that would be a good place to start. They are 1/24 scale (mostly) and are not really scale to anything real but resemble a modern German main Battle Tank (Leopard).
to be continued
