I would recommend Flysky FS-i6s transmitter. Very capable, versatile and not overly complicated and cheap. They go for about $60. Comes with a 6 channel rx, 10 channel rx are also available.

Hello, :'( follow the advice above, do not settle on a specific Tamiya radio, limited to 4 channels. The one mentioned will do the job very well, with additional channels, which will be useful for other animations, if you wish.
For information, I advise you to read the excellent blog of a prominent member of this forum, link below.

The Finespec seems to be a Japan only radio, but some of the Japanese sites have shipped them to the US which is why it's hard to find.

actually, this radio only seems to be available in Japan? moreover, it's a dedicated car radio, don't I personally find it very practical for driving a tank ? 8O
Are we talking about this one?

Any 6 channel plus radio will do just make sure it has a potentiometer for sound control because a few radios because they are set up for Aircraft which do not have a sound card do not have a sound control.
Another useful fitting is having Both the left and the right levers spring loaded.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
