Paints Sherman ?
Hello,
after finally getting back to work on my Sherman Tam.? Am I at the stage I was dreading? the most "painting" and I admit that despite reading this rereading of the post concerned on the Forum? I still don't know what to use, as a color? Besides, I don't have an airbrush? and the TS bomb doesn't seem to be popular with everyone? I had made a test, can conclusive with the brush? follow taker of any opinion …..

Tamiya TS-28 Olive Drab. It's little too green in my opinion but Tamiya sprays are great.

Thank you Kaczor, in primer I intend to use gray, or would another color lighten it up a bit?

Good Morning,
Just to throw another one in the ring. If you can locate a couple of rattle cans of Model Masters Olive Drab 1911, you would also be pleased with the results. I know paint shades for Shermans is like the best motor oil for your automobile. Everyone has a favorite. Whatever you do, don't forget to share pics with us. I have always loved a Good Sherman.
regards,
Painless

Re: Paints Sherman ?
Model Masters is my favourite shade of OD but it's probably not produced anymore. I can't find in anywhere.
Vallejo OD spray is also good.

Re: Paints Sherman ?
This color looks like early war British tank Khaki Green not American OD.
PS I knew that French don't like English but to don't have this language option but still have Bulgarian is weird

Re: Paints Sherman ?
While we're on the subject, what paint would I need for Sherman's in British service, I'm sure I once read that it wasn't the same shade as the U.S. used.
If I'm correct, what company does the shade I need please.
Should I be looking at the same type of green the British tanks were painted?
