[Hi Chaps,
Took a break from my Bull dog build to finally refurb my very old original Tamiya Leopard 1 A4.
All plastic guards replaced with brass, recoil added, muzzle flash, elevation and depression, turret rotation added, lights, amber warning beacon added and functional search light.
Upgraded to Spektrum 6ch 2.4 rc, Open Panzer TCB linked to a Taigen Leopard sound card.
It is still running on 1 motor with a refurbed clutch running gear which still works very well. I have started to convert the wheels to enclosed ball bearing races.
New Euro woodland paint scheme air brushed by me then 4 cotes of varnish.

Really nice job. Not a huge fan of the Leo 1’s but well done

Mr Ad Lav i know what you mean about the Leo 1's looks, but without it we would not have ended up with sleek, graceful leo 2, one i can only dream of owning.

Absolutelly amazing... I am trying to find all the parts for this one... got just the chassis and some beaten hull, but turret is gone. I'll post some pics from it because I'm going to clean that beast to repair it!
