Going to make a few more of these to play with.
Made a few improvments in our printing since doing these first pieces, so watch this space

I haven't looked or really given it much thought till now, but, any ideas if they had similar cranes on the back of trucks? Ones that could lift tank engines?

Yes they did have cranes on back of trucks, but different design. Might find pictures and share across.
Engines tho more likely would use double a.frame and then drag tank out the way

Thanks Will. Didn't think a truck crane would do it.

Will, the the transport tracks on the Tiger 1 were changed using a small crane that slotted into the inbuilt holes in the rear of the front fenders,
Is there any chance you could come up with such a scarce item?

In keeping with the current BergepanzerIII I'm doing now, the answer for a Tiger guard mounted sprocket/track repair crane is yes.
I got a couple from the now Late Capt Midnight ages ago.
I have used one set on this PzIII berg just now, and I'm almost certain I wont need the other one.
I will assemble one & put a picture up asap.

If you like it, its yours for nothing. Be nice to get a set of the oxy-acetylene bottles that Mr & Mrs WCP have made(in the series of pics above) so if you are not in a hurry and you can swindle a gas bottle kit from them, we can swap if you like ?!!!
Regardless of the gas set outcome, the crane is yours if you want.
P.M for details as you like mate.

Just needs a hook on the end of the lifting chain.
