The plastic/nylon Tamiya Leopard 2A6 tracks fit the Heng Long Leopard 2A6 like a glove. They are very strong, a tad heavier than the Heng-Long plastic tracks, but extremely light compared to the metal & rubber Mato tracks.
They fit the plastic, as well as the metal sprockets.
They are quite a bit more expensive (€85.-) than the plastic Heng-Long tracks, but are much more sturdy, with thoroughly glued-on rubber pads on dark-grey nylon links. They come in the usual precise and neatly assembled Tamiya quality. And they look Spot-On!
They also fit the Challenger 2 with the metal sprockets like a glove.

Seidel, Germany has them in stock.
Thought You people would like to know.
Edit: On closer inspection, I discovered that the thingies that connect the nylon tracks and track-pins, are -actually- metal, and look machined. Very nice! Explains the higher weight compared to Heng Long's plastic Leopard tracks.

Re: Tamiya Leopard 2A6 tracks for Heng Long Leopard.
Hello!
I'm having problems to discover how do you remove the track pins on Tamiya tracks for the Leo 2a6. Do you remove the track pins themselves, or remove the metal caps in which the pins enter?
Any help would be apreciated!
Thank you!
Miguel
