Metal Excavator - Magom HRC MG1.4
Metal Excavator - Magom HRC MG1.4
Recently treated myself to this RC model. It comes in various versions of completion but I picked the full metal unit and hydraulic system for it which left me with adding electronics, radio, final assambly and painting.
So here's some pictures
So had to take to bits to paint
Hopefully next pictures will have paint on.

Great work on assembly and painting! I have the xl 4200..runs great. Eagle is also releasing the big dozer this month:)
Re: Metal Excavator - Magom HRC MG1.4
I saw the eagle dozer video and looks ace. Magomhrc are also doing a tracked bucket dozer thing according to they Facebook page but details are slim.
Probably after a tipper truck next. Had a little play wth the Hercules 8x8 tipper which Forgebear is selling and that is very nice, although I might change the cab to a man or daf.

Re: Metal Excavator - Magom HRC MG1.4
Yeah been sorting the electrics recently so no real updates. I've assembled the boom arm and bits and gave a few more coats of orange paint. At weekend wet & dry paint and started clear coat but ran out of clear coat. Then got more but weather meant I couldn't carry on.
So finish clear coat, attach boom to main structure and plumb up hydraulic pipes then it should be ready for maiden voyage.
Ian.

Re: Metal Excavator - Magom HRC MG1.4
Instructions not existing I think self priming as no bleed valve so should be fun finding out.
And yes going through spray paint tins used 5 tins of orange and not even started on the main body yet.
Stay tooned video soon.
