Chieftain

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

After the warmest winter in history, summer is here, it's warmer in my garden than Ibiza...apparently?? Once I have electrics in there I'll add aerials to the roof, currently staring at sensors and led's for the battle system.... :/

One hidden sensor apple. I took the plunge and glued it all together without testing it, I will find out at some point whether that was a decision I will regret... :S

Well today simply vanished without a trace, no idea where the time went. The Chieftain now has an IBU2, some really nice sounds that actually sound like a Chieftain, the battle system all works, and all of the wiring is complete. Everything functions as it should, elevation, turret rotation and servo recoil, complete with muzzle flash. Custom battery pack made and installed as well. I just need to fit an emitter and that will be that, all finished at long ****** last!

Video will follow in due course.
