Re: bridgelayer, msv, and tank recovery vehicle, all h.l. ba
recipe for the build.
take one s/h leopard, cheaply off of ebay remove turret and sell, to offset costs, scour bruder toys on ebay, all 1/16 scale.
pick out the bits cheaply, adapt and militarise them fit to base and respray, add decals and bling. and hey ho, a fun msv.
it is not intended to be anything but an exercise in scratch building, as I have little expertise, and at 77 my hands and eyes are not
as agile as they used to be, "ask my girl friend". but as long as from a couple of feet away, it looks the part. then I am a happy bunny.
your comments are welcome and all questions answered.
Cheers Wads. p.s. it is not finished yet.

So Wads ... how long you been working on this ? It looks a little different than your research photos... will it look closer to that when it's finished ?wadsworthj wrote:recipe for the build.

Hi Alpha.
I have added the decals, and later I will add some bits and pieces to make it less bare, so to speak.
I has been a very quick build, due to the bruder parts fitting with little or no alteration.
but I am not going to add a million pipes etc, as it is meant for the rough and tumble of garden play time.
cheers Wads.

Hi Alpha.
I have added some more photographs to imgur, inc the final pics of the m.s.v.
Anything else on this build might be forthcoming, if I think if , it/they, will suit.
Many thanks for your help.
Cheers Wads
