Four inner rams made for the dozer blade. One attached to the dozer for dry run trials.

Just noticed the damage from drilling out the first attachment. I will have to remove the attachment points to drill out the positions

Finally inside. This is the pivot that I am not sure about, or how to make it, given my megure skill set.

Looking at the photos I need to clean off the dust.

Removed the the side skirts and thinned down the protection where over the side skirt where the exhaust is. Tomorrow is supposed to be manky, so will get the new skirts made. Need a quiet time at work, so I can work on the lower hull.

Small progress on this. All wheels drilled and fitted with bearings. Some are a bit tight, and will need to be drilled a bit deeper.

And finally. Side skirts made from an old inner tube.

I need some etch primer, so the lower hull can go into paint. If it ever stops raining.

What did you use for the fender (inner tube) connectors and with what cement? Looking great, love the dozer blade.

Very carefully removed them with a razor saw, from the original side skirts. Glue was ordinary super glue. Thank you for the compliment.

Mr. Rat I love how those side skirts are coming out. They really look the part. As Nightshift says; "they look so heavy".
You mentioned cleaning off the dust earlier. Ahhh that's nothing. I'm constantly battling my 4 felines getting in my stuff. One out of nowhere now likes to chew on the nifty Imex parts bags that Dave sent me. But I'm invariably mortified when looking at pics I've taken and see black furrs somewhere in the frame.

Turret is nearly ready for paint. Cable runs made from solder to the smoke discharges. I need to make a piece to go to the moveable spot light. This also need connecting to the gun so it moves with it. I then need to install the lenses. Going to try with an old CD, but haven’t had much joy with these. If this doesn’t work I will use some cleaned food packaging painted blue.

With a wee bit of luck, the whole model will be in etch primer by the end of the week. Then we are away for two weeks.
