Hi,
As i await for parts, i have decided to put the M-24 Chaffee build aside and finish the M-113 Lynx, now that i have received everything needed for it.
One of the remaining item to create was the Browning M1919 machine gun, converted to Nato 7.62mm and operated by the observer.
I had difficulty finding references for it. The 1/35 kit is simplified but provided some dimensions for the pipes. All M113 Lynx monuments have their rear machine gun mount removed. Its only on Youtube that i have found a video of a restored running vehicle with all its armaments. I was able to catch a few fuzzy pictures to help me and get the basics of it. I have not yet reproduce some minor details that i would like more investigation done before i do them.

The M1919 mount selling on Shapeways is a WW2 mount, but i was able to use it as a base for modifications.

After a couple of hours, this is the machine gun mounted on the vehicle, looking good. With a cooler heed, I will probably be adding some more details, like a chain and some pins that i see.

Time to mount the new Ludwig roadwheels on the M113. All the inner ball bearings are migrated to the new wheels.

Chris changed the design of the back of the wheel, new model of the left, old one on the right. The printed inner rim now has to be replaced with metal washers, a good idea.
