Must be time for another update:

Progress has been pretty slow lately, but I do have the deck stowage almost done and the hull machine gun and lights fitted.
Exhaust needs a little more work tho...

Next up is masking and painting the stars and hull numbers.

Got the stars on today. The 4th AD used toned down ones by the time they got to the Battle of the Bulge, so that's why they are green...

I'm also working on an accompanying M4A3 105 support tank, using the left over turret, DMD, Mato chassis and a upper hull from a job lot I picked up on ebay
(and a ton of upgrades from ETO to bring it up to A3 spec - this was supposed to be a cheap build 8O )

Nice Shermans! Always good to see the Allied side growing. Also good to have more variation.
We need some more of the unique Allied tanks, like the M10's, M18's, Chaffee's etc.

The Shermans you have there are superb builds, I hope to fight alongside with my M4A1 at some point

Cheers,

Sweet looking Sherman - M4A3E8 iirc?

Tracks look good, better than the Tamiya offering.

Always thought they should have built this instead of the 105mm...

Hi there that's one awsome Sherman you've built there. My Tamiya Sherman is about eleven years old now an bears the battle scars, mines prety much standard kit. one thing tho an i hate to nit pic cos yo've done awesome job. The return rollers on mine through use in all conditions have progressively ground away an replaced them i'm in prosess of upgrading them so would advise contemplating it. very well done tho excellent i love building Tamiya kits have M26 Pershing an Tiger1 trouble is cost as allways.
