Hi Barry.
Thx for your continued interest, it will be different to all the ww2 German Armour thats true :haha: :haha: .
Started on the 20mm cannon.
Decided to do a rotating cylinder in a fixed outer cylinder for elevation and depression, no pivot point as such, works ok on the bench ( famous last words ).

Hi.
20mm cannon, rotating shell casing ejection port and barrel evacuation blower added.
This rotates in the housing in Sync with the barrel elevation and depression.

Hi,
Thank you Mr Bix, you are quite correct.

A few more details added in the cartridge ejection area, and some armour plating added too. Just got to add some bolt heads etc.

Finally fixed the rotating cylinder elevation and depression mechanism in place and finished off the fairing in of the whole assembly on both sides, also started to fit the cover plates over the ejection port etc, and made a start on the twin level turret roof, still got to fix the barrel cooling cylinder in its final place concentric to the barrel itself.

Hi,
Thank you Mr Midlife for your interest, i was begining to wonder

Been finishing off the basic turret and the removable hatch to allow access inside, the top is unusual as its a stepped roof going off at an angle towards the rear, where the commanders hatch is elevated over the gunners side of the tank, still have to do all the periscopes and both hatches etc and a raised secondary machine gun platform on the gunners side.
There are a few places on the panel edges that will require a little plastic filler where the edges have fused but overall i am reasonably happy with the panel fit and sharp edges etc
