Hi
As a quick comment when I did model boats I sometimes dyed my sails in a weak solution of cupernol fence treatment (light oak was the colour I think) being water based and easily diluted cloth use to soak it up quite nicely and at that time cupernol use to do little tiny tester pots, ideal for mixing and matching various colours to get the right result and also they use to be free  :haha:

opp's you said get off the road

Nice idea!

I have some mini tester pots of paint from decorating, wonder if they'll do the job too...

New idea for the hummer spurred on from watching Generation Kill and reading some books.

Aerial recognition panel on top rear and soRe wheel being mounted on the back.

Bags to be hung off the sides.

Ordered my Tamiya TBLE-02s esc today :)

Radio turning up next week too so should have this beauty running.

Awaiting the spare wheel bracket and then I'll fit the wheel and stowage :)

Ad Lav,
Next Spring, I have a project I'll be hitting you up for tips on. I recently received one of those big German Mercedes 1/18 trucks that was used in the first Indy Jones movie and I want to give it a dose of realism and RC it. I'm thinking Tamiya components to get rubber tires and working rims, suspension and steering on it. I've never done a truck so advice will be mucho appreciated. Following along.
regards,
Painless

You think I'm gonna drive this :)

Just kidding, I'm adding some weight up front as its all at the back so far.

Debating a crawler motor to slow it down.
