Degree of weirdness, I’d wager. And as I’ve matured, I’ve come to accept that. An ex girlfriend once told me that she felt I was better off with three thousand year old dead people than I am with social graces. And I believe she may have been on to something. She was a terrible human being, but she wasn’t wrong about that.

There were quite a number of good outfits in the Second World War entirely made up of African American men. The most notable for me are the red tales. A squadron of talented p51 pilots tasked with bomber escort and quite surprisingly according to sources based not to far from me in the uk
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

The socialization is good for my continued infiltration of human society...

I plan to begin disassembly tomorrow. Will try to provide a shot of the base model at minimum.

Alright. We got her to settle down and get her glamour shots.

In all seriousness, though, there isn't much to show here yet. This is the base model, stripped of any snap on accessories. I've opened the hatches that are hinged to do so, as I know this is often a question from those new to the hobby.

The Loader's hatch is used for loading BBs, which is sort of clever. This is also the hatch where the infrared receiver ("apple") is plugged in, though the receiver itself sits on a magnet hidden beneath the surface of the turret about midway between the two hatches.

I had intended to do some work disassembling the tank today but, sadly, it's been rainy and and windy here, so that's simply not been possible. Got enough light and dry to take photos, though!
