My question soreen is it worth the money?

For what its worth as an observation.............the one I had in my face certainly was.

The ludwig centurion is the more expensive model.
Add up everything you need for it and you will see how expensive it is in the end.
In the end you don't even have matching tracks.

Everything is included with the Tamiya Centurion - except the remote control.
The concept is very well thought-out and modular.

You can also wait until the Haya Centurion arrives.
That could be an alternative, but it won't be significantly cheaper.

As already said by jhamm, it feels solid. There are many construction features that help in this, compared to the Tiger or Kv1 for example.

What I dont like is the wiggle in the gun barrel. Didnt find the time yet to add a shim, will be an easy fix, but something like this would be nice to have it better engineered out of the box.

Bost of the hull detail is rather simple. And havin most parts in ABS will make PS add on bits for clasps and latches a bit more difficult to add. Just barely started with my AFV model 1/35th scale kit, so I will see what will be possible without too much of a hassle.

Overall I like it and considered it will run well out of the box and it is a solid tank and easy to build, I guess that is what they ask for it nowadays.

It happened on Sunday at the PTI meeting, I don't know when.
At some point I discovered that something looks different on the trucks: I just drove around a bit.
The spare truck links are now used up...

That is disappointing. An almost identical break on 5 adjacent links.

That damage is to the inside edge of the track? I am trying to imagine what would cause such a break and having trouble visualizing the cause. What was the terrain like?

Of concern is info that the Sheridan has also track failure problems..................

Of all the guys I know with Tamiya models, the OEM plastic tracks are the least of the issues over time that they have had.
Seems to be a recent development

Recent track failures on the Sheridan and now with the Centurion will definitely influence my decision to buy one.
