The BATHTUB! :O Now why didn't I think of that!? :{ I haven't even tried to fill it for seven years! Now I have a reason to do so! I wonder if it leaks. :/ (Calm down, wise guys, I take showers.)

Bath was the only suitable place to test it on water … where I live one river passing around the farm area . But I notice the model struggles with ripples and light current , so need to find somewhere it can float . Plus not too deep …. It’s the same with the schwimmwagon

The prototype was also notorious for struggling with ripples and light current, much less genuine waves. The little splash screen that tips over toward the front was an add-on to help. But "Seep" was an appropriate name.

I, too, have a bit of trouble with the Torro GPA "Seep." The prop does not run smoothly. Andy (xhelfix) provides great help at getting the thing open. See viewtopic.php?f=205&t=32514&p=322135&hilit=GPA#p322135.

The front opens by turning the capstan, a screw head in disguise--clever. The cockpit opens with two screws in front, one on either side, and one at the rear, hidden underneath the spare tire.

I hope Torro presses its manufacturer in China to improve the quality---and pay the workers better. Oops! That may be seen as a political comment; to me its just common sense.

I wasn't going to buy one of these since I've had issues with all the Torro MRAPs and the M16 half-track. Then all the reports were good so I ordered one. Haven't even gotten it yet and having buyer's remorse again... :wtf:

Looking at the prop it seems to have excessive clearance around the blades inside the shroud.
Tightening this up should help with velocity and improve the performance.

Not really.
I replace the prop by a Graupner 2307.25R with Ø25mm.
The controllability does not improve much, but the speed does. ;D
It probably helps a bit to lengthen the rudder blade, but I haven't tried that yet.
