Amazing box art on the latest Trumpeter 1/35 kit 09610 of the Russian T-72B3, featuring a turret throw of a T-72 blowing up in the back. The kit comes with cope (grating) armour but the decal sheet is not impressive, no Z or V or other sprayed graffities that we normally see. I think i will buy it just for the box art, although the kit can be useful as a guide to extrapolate the cope armour to 1/16 scale.

And about "Z" - in some countries (including Poland) a new laws was made, treating symbols of Russian invaders like e.g. a swastika. Maybe Trumpeter want play it safe. Anyway, those symbols are very easy to paint by hand.

There seems to be a not-too-subtle anti-war message in Trumpeter's box-top artwork. Might it be intentional? Who knows. Unfortunately, I doubt Mr. Putin will be deterred.
