After much debate regarding the I.R Emitter tube fit on the JP, I have decided that I am going to run the tube into the main gun and I am not going to fit the flash.

I will be doing the same to my King Tiger when I replace the Barrel with a Schumo 2 piece job along with a Schumo muzzle break.

I think you'll really like the emitter in the barrel.

Excellent build thread. Makes me want to strip my Jagdpanther and start again.

The only thing is our club president bought up the issue regarding the extra length (300mm - 12 inches approx)in the I.R emitter cable, is that it may build up a resistance.

I haven't heard of any issues along that line.

I have had no issues with any of my tanks after extending the emitter wires, range and effectiveness appears normal.

I have stuck my emitter in the barrel and I am still getting 22 plus feet shooting distance...

I will go with that thanks guy's.

I went and purchased 2 metres of auto speaker cable from Jaycars last Friday at 15c a metre. Cheap I reckon. I took a old broken Battle Unit base in to match the wire diameter with what was buying.

This wire will do the Jagdpanther and the King Tiger I.R emitter bulbs up the main gun barrel.

Tested the Jagpanther at the weekend and found that the I.R worked a treat, so I now have the King Tiger in pieces as I have upgraded the gun barrel to a Schumo 2 piece and have added extra cable to the emitter bulb.

I still haven't decided on which camo I will use on the Jagdpanther, so it is sitting around in Dunkelgelb colour only. I do have the Elite Armor Decal set for the JP.
