Hi all
I think this is great value, and I think it’s based on the one at bovington, because the rear mud flaps are identical, and the names in the decals.
the barrel was a mess up at the factory, I shouldn’t have had that, checked with haya, and they think with everything going on at the time (covid, new production line) it was put in by mistake.
I offered to pay, but they said keep it.

It would be interesting to compare the Tamiya, but isn’t there cent £1200? Haya £600 built, Haya kit £399 with no board?

I don’t think it’s a tamiya copy? Think it’s wheels up.
Thanks all!

Loving the kit version for £399 - makes the most sense.

£600 with a cheap looking controller and a Clark board? No thanks.

I didn’t pay much more for my Tamiya Centurion than the £600 he’s asking.

Hi!
That’s cheap, I could only find over a thousand!
Was it eBay??

And is that with the radio too, or just the kit? Sorry I’m being a pain! 🙂

No radio, only the Japanese market version comes with a radio.

Interestingly, Haya has them on eBay for £500 for the kit and £700 for the RTR.

I’m waiting for his shot kal version anyway as happy with the Tamiya mk3 :)

Though I have the Ludwig one now I would lean towards the haya kit version

A couple of things;
If you do buy the metal wheels you will need to separate each wheel as well as the original plastic ones to swap over the wheels bearings both the ones in each wheel centre and the ones that fit the wheel to the axle and a question does the Centurion look black or very dark green ?
Either way it is not my idea of deep bronze green
The mk5/105mm barrel arrived along with the smoke extractor on friday,
To get a tight fit around the barrel the extractor ends up further along the barrel than it should so be prepared to widen each end of the extractor so that it slides down the barrel a little further.
Don't get me wrong I love this tank, the detail is exquisite but as with every tank I have owned there is room for improvement, nevertheless worth every penny.
