Very fast delivery and Dom is always ready to listen out for anything that is not listed.
For hinges I go to ---------

Oh. My. Cheezus...

I'd seen Dom's eBay shop that has a couple of items, but that is an overdraft waiting to happen.

Wish I hadn't asked now!

Thank you (I think) jarndice

I already have a stock of styrene and happily used it in the past, but never integrated brass details before. Is there a preferred supplier for the bolts and hinges, or do you scratch build them too

However, I’m getting ahead of myself as my first tank bits won’t arrive until Friday...

I get all of my "non functional/simulated" brass hardware as well as the smaller functional nuts and bolts here:
https://model-motorcars.myshopify.com/c ... ware/bolts

I also use Master Models cast resin Nuts & Bolts in areas of non stress.

All the hinges you see are scratch built from sheet brass annealed and bent to shape over brass rod. I also use brass tubing cut to length and attached to brass sheet or bar.

Cheers,
Barry

Thanks again Barry.

As they’re US based I think that shipping to the UK would be prohibitive, but it’s always good to have options!

Please remember that Mr C is enabled with skills not from this world.........in fact, we believe he resides in a section of Area 52 that is still classified ,and for some unknown reason has unfiltered internet access :shifty:
Each of his years are fifty of ours, his eyes are the size of dinner plates, he has no nerve endings, and I am very concerned that he will be repatriated to his home planet before his Abrams is finished..............
