1/16 M-ATV MRAP/HL M35 kit bashing WIP

Heng Long/WPL are now manufacturing 1/16 scale RC trucks, so it seemed sensible to create a forum area dedicated to the amazing things that members are doing with them. Post your builds, mods, and tips here.

I cut out the inside of the HL rims and epoxy it into the inside of the Trumpeter rims. It actually fits quite nicely without sanding.

My ESC showed up today and now I can put everything together. Will post some more pictures and a quick video.

Outstanding :clap: I'm not into rc trucks, or vehicles without tracks..not yet that is; but seeing this is giving me a worrying feeling of where my Winter Fuel Allowance (courtesy fo HM Gov..) might go. ;) Never mind the cold when you can have one of these, eh? It looks like real fun, and also gives the option of including whole troops (not just torsos).

Thanks guys....... Really had fun building it and working with the Heng Long truck chassis again which is so versatile. Anyway will be putting this up for sale, not asking for much just price of the kit and the Heng Long donor truck. The tricky part would be packing this baby up as there is lots of fine details.

Stumbled across this very nice WIP some time ago ...

So last week ordered the HL truck and today i went in warehouse looking for the big box laying on the shelf (for a very long time).
Picked up the kit and everything was ready for building, the HL truck should arrive within days, i'm nearly redy to go.
But ... no assembly instructions, i took the booklet to study assembly time ago (i suppose when i bought the kit) but now i'm unable to find it ...
Would you MichaelC be so kind to send me a scan of yours ?
