Given its humble PanTiger beginning I say this is looking mighty fine Bill ! I especially like all the details you put on the roof plate.

Re: Pantiger to Jagdpanther
Thanks, guys. I'm really loving the way it's coming along. A lot better than I was expecting. I was able to get some painting done on it this weekend. Still have to do some weathering, dirt and stowage. Also going to have a go at swapping the Tiger wheels and treads out for a set of Panther running gear. I've added an aluminum MG barrel with LED to the ball mount and wired the headlight back in. Still have to make a cover for the headlight.
Sure doesn't look much like it did when I started out...

Wow !! What a contrast !
Good work mate, those dots are real consistent ,
Sure is a funky way of enhancing a Pantiger.

Re: Pantiger to Jagdpanther
Good morning,
That's some beautiful work there! You've managed to do that rarest of all things, make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The Pantiger is a good runner as is and several great early Panther builds have been made out of them but this is a rarity indeed! ...and you made it look so easy! ;o)
regards,
Painless

Great mod on an otherwise, lonely odd ball hunk of plastic.

Re: Pantiger to Jagdpanther
So, I think I've just about got the Panther running gear mounted up. Does this look to close to what it should be?
I still need to take a link or two out, but as far as I can tell, it's pretty close.

Re: Pantiger to Jagdpanther
This really is making the best out of a bad situation Mr Midnight, the much maligned Pantiger is normally relegated to spares or vital bits for an A model Panther.
I reckon once you pull a link or two out of the tracks you will have created the proverbial miracle
Could suggest you run a length of material along the side of the hull & hang some schurzen . At least towards the front where the biggest gap is above the tracks.
Again, great vision & tenacity to bring a Pantiger up to scratch
